During his recent Asian trip, Pejac visited Tokyo where he created a series of new effective street works. Being a huge fan of Japanese culture and tradition, Spanish artist cleverly used familiar images and symbols in these works. Showing a cleaning lady pouring the iconic Great Wave out of her water bucket, a little boy watering Bonsai tree with flock of bonsai birds flying out of it, or a samurai performing a ritual suicide with a branch of cherry blossom, the works are great examples of his creativity and skilled brush work. Along with these painted works, he also expressed a strong commentary on Japanese excessive fishing through a sculptural piece Fin Soup placed on a walk path in bustling Shibuya.
